Applications
Use in natural or manmade ponds, lakes, fountains, fish farms, fish hatcheries, golf courses and swimming ponds. Water must be under complete control of the user and have little or now outflow. (Dye concentration must be maintained.) Do not apply directly to streams, or any body of water that may be used for human consumption. Do not apply to water for swimming pools if chlorine is used, as color will degrade.
Application Procedures
Liquid:
Consult the recommended dosage chart for suggested rates. Optimum results are achieved by applying prior to or early in the growing season when weeds are on the bottom of a body of water or when aquatic vegetation is growing at depths greater than 2 feet. Reapply as needed during the growing season. Admiral Liquid is usually applied directly from the container near the shoreline. However, Admiral Liquid may even be applied while ice is still covering a body of water. Pour Admiral Liquid on the ice in a circle approximately one yard (approx. 1 meter) in diameter. The ice will melt and Admiral Liquid will be dispersed into water beneath the ice. Physical removal or other aquatic weed control methods may be used before or after applications of Admiral Liquid. When using an aquatic herbicide, follow all label restrictions, precautions and directions for use.WSP: Admiral WSP is a concentrated blend of dry-flowable colorants in a pre-measured Water Soluble Packet (WSP). Place packets into body of water. Packets will dissolve, releasing contents into water. Consult application rate chart for suggested rates.
