Becker Underwood’s involvement
in the Forestry and Arborist market has been a cornerstone of our growth.
By focusing on the needs of the arborist, vegetation manager, and the
forest pest manager, we’ve developed complete line of products to
protect the health of trees and the people who tend them. With Becker
Underwood’s highly effective spray pattern indicators, for example,
there is a product for every application situation from noxious weed control
to site prep applications in the forest to right of way vegetation management.
Hi-Light®, Colorfast® and
Bas-Oil® help the applicator know where herbicide has
been applied, ensuring the accuracy of the product placement and reducing
waste.
Tree Guard®
is also a protective spray formula, effectively protecting trees, shrubs
and flowering ornamentals from deer damage. It’s unique latex polymer
helps the formula resist wash-off and keep deer from nibbling for up to
100 days.
To ensure new trees and plants
get off to a healthy start, Becker Underwood has also introduced seven
types of Rhizanova™ mycorrihizal fungi inoculants. Rhizanova
increases water absorption and nutrient uptake, making it the best insurance
an arborist can have when establishing newly planted trees and shrubbery.
